In his opening remarks, Dr. Khor Hoe Ee, President of the ESS, said that, ” Economics is a fascinating subject. It involves dwelling into the economic data and historical events to pick out regularities that can be a guide to future developments. Economics derives its relevance from the particular perspective it provides in interpreting and analyzing everyday issues that concern us all.”

Throughout the conference, the students were forthcoming in their questions for the speakers, highlighting their many queries and challenges on the numerous facets of our economic policies.
