ABOUT THE MODERATOR:
Manu Bhaskaran is Director of Centennial Group International and the Founding Director and Chief Executive Officer of Centennial Asia Advisors. Mr. Bhaskaran has more than 30 years of expertise in economic and political risk assessment and forecasting in Asia. Before joining the Centennial Group, he was Chief Economist for Asia of a leading international investment bank and managed its Singapore-based economic advisory group. He is the Vice President of the Economic Society of Singapore.

Xin Wei is Head of Marketplace and Economics at Grab. She focuses on driving healthy marketplace dynamics across Grabs core Deliveries, Transport, and Fintech businesses through continuous experimentation and optimization of pricing, demand and supply. Xin Wei has been at Grab since 2015 in roles spanning strategy and operations. Prior to Grab, Xin Wei worked at the Boston Consulting Group and the Singapore Ministry of Finance. She was named one of Prestiges 40 under 40 in 2019.
Tan Yinglan founded Insignia Ventures Partners in late 2017 and is the Founding Managing Partner. Insignia Ventures Partners is an early stage technology venture fund focusing on Southeast Asia and manages more than US$350 million from sovereign wealth funds, foundations, university endowments and renowned family offices. Insignia Ventures Partners is the recipient of two back-to-back “VC Deal of Year” awards for Payfazz (2019) and Carro (2018) from the Singapore Venture Capital and Private Equity Association and its portfolio include many other technology leaders in Southeast Asia.
Jonathan Tan is a behavioral economist specializing in strategic decision making and its implications for businesses, society and policy making. He is currently Associate Professor of Economics at Nanyang Technological University and Research Director of the Economic Growth Centre NTU. Prior to joining NTU, Jonathan was Founding Director of the Center for Research in the Behavioural Sciences and Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham, as well as Research Professor at DIW Berlin.
