13th Singapore Economic Policy Forum 2021

New technologies, climate change, and epidemics are calling into question the sustainability of the current world economic orders. Uncertainty abounds; the immediacy to tackle these challenges has never been greater. This year’s Singapore Economic Policy Forum will focus on assessing where Singapore stands amidst these tides of global transformation and mapping out a response strategy. Speakers from academia, the government, and the private sector will address these issues. The objective is to increase public awareness of the challenges and their bearing on Singapore and stimulate informed public discourses on sensible solutions.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Economics Society of Singapore invite entries for the MAS-ESS Economics Essay Competition 2021. The Essay Competition is to encourage debate on issues related to the economic turmoils due to Covid-19 pandemic. The competition invites submissions from Polytechnics, Centralized Institutes, International Schools and Junior Colleges as well as full time national servicemen who have competed their pre-university education.
