On October 29, 2025, ESS celebrated Singapore’s 60th birthday with a special Distinguished lecture by world-renowned economist Professor Jeffrey Sachs, University Professor at Columbia University. Professor Sachs, speaking on “ASEAN and the World Economy to 2050,” addressed a crowd of nearly 20,0, which filled the ballroom at Voco Orchard Hotel.
