To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Economic Society of Singapore (ESS), we are hosting a conference entitled “Big Ideas from a Small Nation” that brings together leading economists, policymakers and experts to examine the forces shaping Singapore’s next decade and the “Big Ideas” needed to address them. The conference brings together leading policymakers, thought leaders, industry practitioners, and academics to explore the future of economic growth, technological innovation, enterprise development, sustainability and social resilience. Discussions will consider how Singapore can navigate global uncertainties, strengthen its competitive advantage, address emerging challenges and generate bold new “Big Ideas” to sustain its prosperity, resilience and social cohesion for future generations.
