Each year, the Economic Society of Singapore, in collaboration with and with the generous support of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, organises the MAS–ESS Essay Competition. The competition provides a valuable platform for pre-university students to explore contemporary economic issues, develop critical thinking, and put forward thoughtful and well-reasoned ideas. This year’s essay theme is: “Singapore’s AI-Driven Economic Future: How can artificial intelligence reshape our industries, workforce, and competitive advantage while ensuring inclusive growth and managing disruption?”
